ITINERARY- PANCHASE TREK (12 DAYS)


DAY1- ARRIVE KATHMANDU, TRANSFER TO YOUR HOTEL
Yak Expeditions representative on airport will receive you and then, you will be taken to your hotel. You will meet your trek leader in the hotel, he will give you a briefing about the trekking and equipments you need. This is the time to ask your guide if you have any questions or confusions about trekking before leaving for a welcome dinner. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY2- In Kathmandu
Chaotic and culturally rich, Kathmandu is a fascinating place to explore. Discover the city’s squares and quaint courtyards where ornate, carved balconies overlook shrines and temples. There are plenty of sights and optional activities on offer in this colorful city. Head to Durbar Squares to catch a glimpse of ancient monuments, visit the aptly named ‘Monkey Temple’ and Boudhanath, the gigantic stupa that acts as a spiritual lodestone for Nepal’s Tibetan Buddhist. Stroll around the busy streets of Thamel and there’s lot to keep you refreshing here.

Day3- Flight to Pokhara
This morning we take a flight to Pokhara, Nepal’s second largest town (820m). Soaring mountains and mirror lakes replace Temples and palaces. Overnight at Hotel. 

Day4- Pokhara
Pokhara, the gateway to the world-famous Annapurna trek has a lot to keep you entertain. We boat around the lakes of Phewa, visit religiously important temple Tal Barahi, take a walk around the world peace stupa and visit the Davis waterfall. If the clients are interested or wish to do Paragliding, microlight flights or newly opened and adventurous zip line, its possible. Overnight at hotel.

Day5- Trek to Bhumdi (1520m), Walk Approx.3 hrs
From Pokhara, a short boat trip across the beautiful Phewa Lake will take you to the start of the trek. The first climb through the forest will take us to the steps heading to the world peace stupa. Balanced on a narrow ridge high above Phewa Tal, the brilliant-white World Peace Stupa was constructed by Buddhist monks from the Japanese organization to promote world peace. After, we continue down through the forest on small walking trails, before climbing back up to join an open jeep trail snaking round the hill, which will take you through the village of Lukum Swara. The final climb of today takes you up to the Bhumdi village. Overnight at lodge.

Day6- Trek to Panchase Bhanjyang (2065m), Walk approx. 4 hrs
After a short climb to really wake you up, the trail continues through beautiful forest where you can see mountains regularly peeking out between the trees. On the route, you could see the beautiful panoramic views of the mountains like Annapurna, Gangapurna, Lamjung and Machhapuchhre (fishtail) and the massifs like Manaslu, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna I. Continuing along the zeep trail takes you gently uphill to Panchase Bhanjyang. The people here are of caste Gurung and Brahmins. Overnight at lodge.

Day7- Trek to BAdhaure (1670m), walk approx. 3hrs
This morning, you climb the stone steps up to Panchase Hill at almost 2500m, the highest point of your trek. From here, you will again be rewarded with stunning views of mountain. Its better to get up early in the morning to reach at this point for a sunrise. This afternoon consists of a gentle walk down to your campsite, just above the town of Bhadaure. Overnight at lodge.



Day8- Trek to Australian Camp (2100m), Walk approx.3hrs

Day9- Trek to Sarangkot (1592m)
The view of the Annapurna Himalaya from sarangkot is almost a religious experience. From here, you can see panoramic views of Himalayan peaks, from Dhaulagiri in the west to the perfect pyramid that is Machhapuchhre and the rounded peak of Annapurna II in the east. The views in the early morning and in the evening are the spectacular one. Overnight at lodge

Day10- Trek back to Pokhara, Walk approx.3-4 hrs

Day11- Flight/Drive back to Kathmandu

Day12- TRIP ENDS HERE, DEPART KATHMANDU
